Many sysadmin's support more pc's than they can keep track of.  Also, if one
doesn't implement VNC on all pc's at the same time, it's easy to lose track
of who's got it.  Asset management is a great idea in theory but in practice
is a very tricky and is basically a pain in the rear.  I work in a company
with about 150-200 pc's, it's VERY hard to keep track of who's got what.
Even though we're standardizing on pc names to make it easier to tell what
the pc name is by the name of the user, a scanning feature is very handy.
So handy that I wrote my own, which I plan to release in the near future. :)
