I am interested in making x0rfbserver a little bit faster for linux. I'm looking at dga for faster framebuffer access, and adding a region manager to an existing x server to keep track of where the updates need to be ( it look like 40% of the time x0rfbserver is searching for rectangles to update). ( Could this be an XFree86 'extension'?) Has anybody considered any of these approaches? If so, has any progress been made? I like the fact that x0rfbserver is pure X, and written in c++. Thanks brett bolen. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message with the line: unsubscribe vnc-list to [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
