Hello everyone,

I just installed VNC on a Solaris 7 server; everything looks like my
Solaris 8 server. I can't seem to make changes to the -geometry option
stick regardless of the setting; it's always 640x480x8. I didn't forget to
HUP my inetd after each change.

I have the following entry on my inetd.conf file (both my Solaris 7 and 8
machines have the exact same entry):
vnc-server stream tcp nowait nobody /usr/local/bin/Xvnc
Xvnc -inetd
-query localhost -geometry 1024x768 -depth 24

I don't seem to have the problem with my Solaris 8 server; each time I
change the geometry settings I get the different size viewer window.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you,
Brian Street
