Then you're never going to get through. If you want to access something
behind a firewall, there must be _some_ way through, or you're cooked.
Yes, technically you can figure out some way to tell the server to
initiate an _outgoing_ session. Since outgoing sessions aren't
authenticated, that's a fairly dangerous proposition, too.

VNC is fairly flexible, though. Check out the mailing list archives for
folks who've set it up to run on low ports (23,25,80, or whatever you
might already have open through your firewall).
