Software version is 3.3.3b2 (aka Beta 3.0.1).

I'm not sure what you mean by "depth of connection"

My client machine monitors (2 19-inch CTX) are is set at 1024x768@75hz and
millions of colors.

I can control the remote server just fine (I know this because i set up a
server right next to my computer so i could see its screen. My client
screen is black, but the remote server is responding as though i could see
it.

Does changing resolution on my client machine change anything?
