Hello, I connect from a win nt 4.0 machine to a linux box and everything is fine except one thing. For one important app on linux I need the asciitilde character. Helas this character is not transmitted well. On the french keyboard of the NT station you have to hit Alt Gr + "2" (the "2" key of the horizontal row of number) twice for this character. Is there a way to edit the NT box so that we don't have to hit twice the keys ? Or to affect the asciitilde to another keys on the keyboard ? Or if else, How to change on the linux side the keyboard with xmodmap ? The man page is not that easy to understand...
