I have the same kind of hub/cable modem but I can get Internet access from
both computers at the same time. I do have listed in my Network
Neighborhood Configuration box for the NIC three items: Adapter, NetBEUI,
and TCP/IP. Do you know why your laptop is the only computer that can get
access to the Internet?
