Nothing happens..........Same black screen with a dead
curser..............when I move my curser into the black screen it becomes
a little dot............nothing happens on the Server desktop with either
operation.

I meant you to try the "Send Ctrl-Alt-Del" menu option from the menu you
get
when you right click the VNC viewer window title.
