Hi,

We recently had Solaris on our Sun Server upgraded from 2.5.1 to 2.6. and we
now get the following error message in each user log file when attempting to
start a vncserver session:

sun1-sam >> more ~sam/.vnc/sun1:1.log
_XSERVTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener
_XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to create listener for local

Fatal server error:
Failed to establish all listening sockets
xrdb: Interrupted system call
xrdb: Can't open display 'sun1:1'
sun1-sam >>

I did not do the original vnc installation but have found the original file
downloaded (vcn-3.3.3r1_sun4_sosv_5.5.tar).
Is it just a matter of installing the binary packages for Solaris 2.6 and
if so where are they located(as I can't find them on the download page at
www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/download.htm)
Being new at this, I would appreciate any help/suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
Sam
