Hi All,

I have a problem with VNC from a particular subnet.

The situation is this: I have two subnets, A and B
which are connected by a frame relay circuit. At each
end there is Cisco router. Subnet A has a firewall,
and outside of the firewall are a number of servers,
call it the DMZ.

All Intranet servers are on subnet A.

Users on A can VNC to Intranet servers and DMZ
servers. Users on B can VNC only to Intranet
servers. When they attempt to VNC to the DMZ
servers, it times out. There is no sign in the
firewall logs that the user has tried to traverse
the firewall - in other words the firewall did not
appear to even receive the request. The firewall
successfully proxies the subnet A requests and I
see those in the firewall logs.

Oh, the firewall successfully proxies other
requests (eg port 80) for the subnet B guys.

Any ideas,

Cheers,

Enkidu
