Yeah, you might want to try a clean install.  Save all the stuff you want to
save, wipe that disk clean and re-install NT.  I don't think anyone has been
really happy with the upgrades for any of MS's OS's.  There are just too many
things that can go wrong during the upgrade that won't happen with a clean
install.
