Hi, I haven't found a solution to my problem yet. Does this mean that
there are users out there that are successfully using vncviewer with a
depth greater than 8 on solaris?
Here is more info about my configuration:
+ VNC 3.3.3r2 Binary Distribution for Unix
+ Solaris SunOS 5.7
+ X server on solaris host supports both 8 and 24 bit windows
Problem: vncviewer always chooses 8-bit visual regardless of -depth
option and translates the 16 or 32 bit VNC protocol data to 8-bit
causing color distortion.
