I just want to make a general comment: I have been
using VNC for some time on a number of platforms. I
have sometimes been frustrated and had to dig to find
answers, but those researches gave me more insight
than simply asking questions passively.

VNC is a truly outstanding piece of software and as
another person noted, it was developed as an internal
effort and not for commercialization. We who use it
should be very grateful that we have been allowed to
share this work and we should try to give back if we
ever have the opportunity.

Thanks again to the VNC crowd for a *really* great
body of work.
