Well, at least it's not one of those "no one else has ever seen this" 
problems :-)

Any suggestions about a good xemacs list for me to query? If not, I 
guess I can just do a search.

I noticed that the same problem does not exist with plain emacs, so it 
seems to be xemacs-specific.
