Hi, I'm having a problem accessing winvnc running windows 2000 server.
I've been using vnc for about a year on windows 2000 and have not had
any access problems. I implemented a cisco firewall at a colocation
setup proper NAT addresses and opened up port 5900 for vnc access on a
specific ip (fully qualified internet ip). Everything's been working
fine for 3 months. But yesterday, I wasn't able to get into vnc even
when I've verified my password. Then I changed the password for vnc and
I was allowed into the server for about 5-10 mins. But when I log off
vnc. The same problem occurred again. I can get the password prompt, but
vnc will not authenticate a password I know to be valid. Does anyone
have any ideas? Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA
