Hello all,

I have a question which many of you may have already faced. I apologize
for reiterating it, but the FAQ and Documentation didn't really clear it
up for me.

Here is the basic information:

Server - Direct to Internet
Viewing - always will be via the HTTP interface from WITHIN a firewall

Last time when this was done, the web page loaded and so did the applet,
but then the password never went through and the viewer didn't quite
start.

I have the open ports list for the firewall so I know what ports I can
use. The part I'm getting confused on is, what is the default port the
server talks to the viewer with. And how should I structure offsets to
make it run on a desired port. To put it mathematically:

Default Port + Offset = New Port

Default Port is the one the server automatically talks on.
Offset is what I need to add or subtract to get New Port.
New Port is an open port on the firewall, from within which I will be
connecting.

For example I know that ports 2000 through 2010 are open over TCP. Can
you show me an example of what I can put into the display number box in
the WinVNC's server's Current User Properties dialog to get the server
to talk to the viewer applet at any of the ports from 2000 to 2001.

Right now I've got 101 in there. So from a Java enable web browser I
type in:

http://myserver.ip:101/

This works fine.

Now to get it to talk on ports 2000 to 2010.

Thanks so much.
