Just installed VNC on both my Mac and my PC. I have the two networked. I
can control the Mac from the PC and vice versa. However, when connecting
to the Mac from the PC the Mac doesn't respond to command key
equivalents, i.e., command-w to close a window, command-q to quit, etc.

I need some help understanding what the Cmd Key Equivalents popup menus
(four of them!) do in the VNC Controls control panel do. Also, is it
possible that my keyboard setup is to blame? I am using a Belkin OmniCube
KVM to share a PC keyboard and mouse and a display between the PC and my
PowerMac 6500. The keyboard has Ctrl, Windows and Alt keys that usually
map to Ctl, Opt and Cmd quite well.

Interestingly, while I am using Claris Emailer (from the Mac), Emailer
acts as if I'm holding down the shift key at the same time I strike, say,
cmd-k. This only occurs when I've started VNC Server on the Mac and VNC
Viewer on the PC, and continues until I've quit VNC Server. I've not
found it to occur with any other application.
