Hi everyone,

I have a rather strange problem. We have two Linux servers (one with
Mandrake 7.1 and the other Caldera OpenLinux 2.4). Both have vnc 3.3.3r2
set up with the -inetd option as documented on Andre Moreira's web page.
Connecting to the Mandrake box works fine. Connection to the Caldera box
with the "usual way" (by first running vncserver) is also fine. However,
connection to the Caldera box using the inetd option does not work. The
Windows viewer gave the message "ReadExact: Socket error while reading".
The Linux viewer (when I tried connecting from the Mandrake box to the
Caldera box) gave the message "read: Connection reset by peer". On the
Caldera box, the log in /usr/adm says:

[... bunch of opening lines omitted]
Fatal server error:
XDMCP fatal error: Manager unwilling Host unwilling

Anyone has idea what's wrong? TIA!

Regards,
Andy
