As an alternative, could you not just set a firewall or similar on the
machine to deny access from the other network? I'm not aware of how such
things would be set up on windows (or even if they're present at all,
based on the default installation) but here I'd be using tcp-wrappers or
similar.
Probably overkill if such a system is not already present :)
