The winvnc service was hung on one of the servers. This apparently happened while one server was connected to another server causing both servers to generate the problem. When I went on-site I found a message on one say "connection closed", when I clicked OK, this one was then accessible. I could not clear out the connection on the other one. It would not let me stop the service or "end task" on the process. I was finally forced to uninstall the service and reboot to get rid of it. When it came back up I did not reinstall the service, I just ran the app. Now they both work again. A reboot of both the servers may have fixed without uninstalling the service??? -----Original Message----- From: Viitala Jari [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 7:15 AM To: Janice Adams Subject: VS: VNC Info: ReadExact: Socket error while reading hello Sorry, the problem is still there, if you find something please write to me.
