Yes, you've got quite the problem to have: functionality. :)
You've pointed your browser to the 'control port' (also called the
RFB-port). The "RFB 003 003" isn't an "error message", it's the
perfectly correct response from the VNC server.
Try pointing your web-browser to the 'browser port' instead.
It's port# is the RFB-port# less one-hundred. Hopefully the firewall
that's protecting the VNC server is allowing this port thru as well.
If not, fix the firewall. If you cannot fix the firewall, patch
the VNC server so that it uses the same browser-port as RFB-port.
If you can't patch the server...just use a normal viewer. :)
