Hello there! Just a quick note to let you know that multiple monitor configurations (and the demand for MultiVNC) are not that rare... I have dualhead configurations at home and at the office, and three of the people on my team have dualhead setups as well. We are often away from our desks, so MultiVNC becomes a necessity when you are stuck on a lab someplace and need to check your e-mail, run an app from your desktop to do some tests, etc. That said, I will be trying out MultiVNC this Monday at work, and would definetly love to see it (or something like it) rolled into the standard distro (AT&T's, not those wierd offshoots we keep hearing about), even if as a W2K-only option. (Er, "tight" encoding on the standard distro would be nice, as well, BTW... wink wink... When is it going to be updated?)
