Steven; I got your name from the web site for vnc. I have been using your conbtributed version of VNC for a while for HPUX 10.20. I have had very lttle problems with it in the past. I have users connecting into my company from home and running HP simulation software(HP EESOF and HP ADS). These are engineering design applications. People dial in thru an NT ras server. With HPUX 10.20 we would randomly see the viewer window crash. My users would then restart the vncviewer and be left at the point where they were and continue on with their work. I just installed a new machine which is running HPUX 64bit version 11.0. We are getting many more crashes. Also it seems that now once a user crashes he is unable to get his display back. The viewer once you give the password crashes out. I think the problem has to do with resources. I can repoduce the problem at will by running netscape. After the viewer crashes I can't get back in however if I telnet in and kill the netscape process I then CAN get back in. Iam also sending this message to the vnc-list . I would apreciate any help I can get on this.
