According to Dries Feys:

The Aladdin eSafe Desktop is a firewall and virus scanner.
As a firewall, when I tried it about a year ago, it did *not* close port 139
(Windows file sharing) on my internet connection. On that basis, I dropped
it and went to ZoneAlarm (also free for home use). Unless this has been
fixed, I'd suggest you stay away from this product.
CAI <http://www.cai.com> has a virus protection product that's free for home
use. I'd suggest using it in combination with ZoneAlarm. Mind you, I don't
know how good CAI's product is relative to Symantec's (Norton).
