This sounds like the service password isn't set right. One thing you can do is check
the
password hash in the registry. It your case, there should be at least two different
keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\Winvnc3\Default
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\Winvnc3\Default
They should both have the same password info. If not, just change the HKLM one to match
the HKCU entry. The Local Machine one corresponds to the service version of WinVNC
The other thing you can do is access the service setup info from
Start->Programs->VNC->Administrative Tools->Show Default Settings. This shows the setup
screen for the service entry, not the current user entry.
