Hi everyone,
I have a strange problem with key mapping. Hopefully someone knows how to
solve it.
I'm using VNC 3.3.2 on Linux (Mandrake 7.1) running on a dual P3 Xeon
machine (XF86 is 4.0.1). We connect to it from our NT boxes via our
corporate network. We usually connect with the iXvnc so people won't have
to start the vncserver on the Linux box first. The problem is that when
connecting this way, the "5" key for some reason becomes the backspace key.
The "5" key on the numeric keypad still works, but there is no way to get a
"%" (shift-5).
The strange thing is that if we start vncserver on Linux and then connect to
it, we don't have this problem! Logging in at the Linux console also have
no problem.
Any ideas? TIA!
Regards,
Andy Liaw
