Hello VNC community:
I am having what I would consider a weird issue with MacVNC 3.3 Beta and/or
3.4 Alpha 3, tried both, same issue ;-)
First off, My Macintosh is a PowerPC G3 300 Mhz (iMac) with 128 MB RAM
running MacOS 9.0.4 with OT version that came therewith.
I connect to the Internet via a Cablemodem and I am running a personal
firewall called NetBarrier. We (a friend helping me test the mac version
and myself) have been trying to connect to my server and this causes a hard
lockup of the machine under either version listed above. I have changed the
memory configuration of the VNC server giving it a minimum of 4 MB and a
maximum of 35 MB to run in. Still locks up when my friend tries to connect
from remote. Do any of you have any experience with this phonomenon? What
did you do to work around it? How can it be solved?
Thanks in advance for any help!
