(not being a mail-server admin, I ask...)
Is it possible that there be a second "digest" version of mailing list
that would be stripped of "personal" return-addresses and posted to the
newsgroup?
Or a moderated newsgroup where email from non-subscribers to the mailing
list is moderated, but subscribers are posted without intervention?
(just thinking aloud about potential technical solutions),
