Does the win98 machine has a valid tcpip adress ? It might be possible you copied
through Netbeui or Novell, or so... ?

Yes, we reinstalled, and restarted. The error we get is "failed to connect
to server". I don't see how it can connect seeing as how we don't give it a
password, but then it doesn't ask for one. There's a window that displays on
my Windows 2000 that asks for a password. This doesn't display on Windows
98.
We can get to the server OK. I keep the VNC zip file there and we copied it
over from there on to the Windows 98 machine to install it.
