as far as I know VNC denies consequently Loop-back connections (connections from a
computer to itself). if you want to test your VNC you should use a
second computer in this network. You can copy the client or use netscape or internet
explorer for this (while using a browser, you have to add the port to the url,
e.g.: http://192.245.100.100:5800).
