What the client sends are so called glyphs, which are for all practical
purposes in this case, scan codes, which are recieved by the server and
translated according to a KeySym table, into events for the X clients. It's
just a matter of configuring the right KeySyms.

Subject: Sending ScanCodes
Message text:

I want to send Alt+Q to an application from a LINUX vncviewer (VNCviewer
for X).
I tried to find the information for ctrl+alt+del which is more or less
what is needed.
I only found information about customizing the popup window. You can
only send character
keys but not scancodes. Any help or sugestions.
Dieter
