I have been playing with it here, and it does work. I would suggest using
the free Mocha VNC Light as your client. You can find it on iTunes if you
search in the apps section. There are a few "pay" version out there too...I
have bought them all (to test with our VNC server)...and they do not seem to
work as well as Mocha.

Still..I find using VNC from the phone to be very difficult. It is not the
fault of the develpoers...but simply the fact that newer computers have huge
resolutions, and the iPhone is a small screen compared to it.

But it works wonders when you need to do a simple reboot, or shutdown.
