Hi, I'm new to this list, so please forgive me if this was previously posted.
I'm running on Fedora 8, and cannot kill previous instances of vncserver. Every time I start "vncserver" it will open display 6, while no other displays are opened. Inside ~/.vnc that are no files with pid's or log's with numbers less than 6. Also by doing "ps aux | grep vnc" there are no related processes. I imagine that there must be some file somewhere locking the creation of these displays. I would appreciate any suggestion.
