Yes Alex I run a free version too as non-root. But for enterprise, I ran
into permissions problems with the vnclicense command and I'm guessing
that's not the only issue.

It should be possible since vnc does not use any privileged resources. I

run free version of vnc as non root and do not see how ee would be
