    Several things to check out in this situation:
* Have you typed in the correct host name?  If you're not sure of the
name or if you're not sure if you've got working DNS, type in the IP
address.
* Make sure you're using the correct port/display number.
* Make sure you don't have firewall in the VNC server.  Have you got
something called shurewall in your Fedora?

    If your Fedora is supposed to respond to ping, do a ping to make
sure you've got the correct IP address.
