I'm using RealVNC 4.1.2 on Windows XP Home. I want the connection to remain open indefinitely. But I find that after a while the viewer program terminates with no message. I've monitored it and established that this termination takes place 8 hours 20 minutes (30000 seconds) after the connection is established, so it looks deliberate. I've searched for a setting that I can alter, without success.
