http://www.realvnc.com/products/enterprise/4.2/man/Xvnc.html Current VNC Enterprise Edition don't yet provide session management functionality, but it's in development. With the session manager in use, users just log in to the server computer and get their existing desktop, or a new one, as appropriate. The session creation process is also scriptable, to allow load balancing over a pool of session server machines, provided that the user's home directory is shared across those machines so that VNC can track their desktops.
