I was able to correct this in Vista by right clicking on the VNC server icon and select "Run as Administrator". Follow the prompts to enter your logon password and it now works for me to connect from XP to Vista.

Ron

Subject: No password configured for VNC auth

I'm getting "No password configured for VNC auth" when I try to connect.
I've already set the passwd using "vncpasswd", the file did appear in my
/home/user/.vnc directory. The vncserver appears to be functioning ok
otherwise...any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Best, Brad
