Fedora 7 or Fedora Core 6, RealVNC, X VNC extension enabled. On one machine, FC6, dell/intel 810, when I VNC into it I get garbage into the background of xscreensaver login, like someone is writing garbage into screen memory. On another machine, Radeon 7500, FC6 or F7, the whole system hangs and needs to be rebooted (power button) if I try to VNC into it, every single time. Leaves some warning messages from drm/radeon on syslog. Any ideas where to look? Google doesn't have any recent hits or this, or even solutions to similar old posts
Are you using stand-alone Xvnc or libvnc.so module into X ?
