I and some friends are evaluating RealVNC Enterprise 4.2.9 and we are having
some difficulties to understand the logging options.

We installed RealVNC to work as a service and we got some logging on the
computer (btw is running WinXP Pro SP2 full updated) event log. We tried to
direct he log to a file using the Log entry at the registry but we din't saw
no winvnc.log file anywhere on the computer! In fact Win VNC 4 events ceased
to appear on the event log but we don't find the log file anywhere on the
computer!

We added to the registry tree where the RealVNC parameters are the parameter
Log, type REG_SZ, with the value *:file:0,Connections, file:30 . I must
confess we saw this value somewhere on the Internet since we din't find any
explanation about log levels.

So,  after dozens of Google queries trying to sort out this situation (the
strange mistery of the missing log file) a decided to came here asking your
help on this situation! Any hints about what's happening? Does RealVNC log's
either http and VNCViewer connections? Can someone explain the various log
levels?
