Hi All,

I have 3 XP workstations that I have to check in from home VIA the
Internet on when called on. This has worked fine for over two years now.
Suddenly on one machine the only way I can connect is to have the user
kill the server and re-start it in user mode. When trying to connect I
get a pause and then a "server closed unexpectedly" error. I decided to
try installing the latest server release on that one machine but I still
get the same results. The server starts on boot but will not allow
access either from inside the internal network or from my home network.
Also of note is that the option to close the server is greyed out. I
have to have them kill it from the task manager. However once killed and
started in user mode, I can connect fine. I use no key or authentication
sans a simple password but I have also tried it with no password at all
and got identical results.

Any idea what is happening here? I have tried to "Google" this issue and
searched the lists but it is a hard to define search.

Thanks,

Jim
