Andy,

UltraVNC also supports view-only mode when used with the Microsoft
login. For more information, check out
http://www.vncscan.com/UltraVNC/Deploy_UltraVNC.htm

On that page, look for 0x1 and that means view-only.

Hi Andy,

Can you explain what you mean by "quasi-read only mode"?

VNC Personal Edition supports view-only connections fully, which I
assume is what you mean by "read-only mode".

VNC Personal Edition can be used with the VNC Mirror Driver, for
improved performance.

All standard VNC releases are designed to be installable over an
existing, running installation.

Cheers,

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.
