Hi, this is the first time I have had to post (I presume this will turn
out ok)

I have an issue when trying to uninstall VNC 3.3.7. When uninstalling
the program it says that it cannot remove/uninstall the WINVNC service.

The error message comes back as "Access Denied". The installation then
continues but it leaves behind the service. This has happened on both
w2k, w2k3 and XP machines.

However I am logged onto the machine as an administrator, this is not
just one pc. We have tried this on a number of machines and it comes
back

with the same error message. You cannot even start/stop the service
when it is installed as it comes back with the same message.

We have no idea what user installed the software (so there is no chance
of logging on as them to uninstall it). Are there any other ways around
it?

Thanks

Tom
