I am aware of a way to allow connections to VNC server from other
machines by the following steps: right click VNC icon and select option,
go to Connections tab and uncheck "Only accept connections from the
local machine".

However is there another way to do it, such as to programmatically mimic
this configuration or to set it in the installation process? I need to
automate VNC installation on many machines and allow connections.

In addition, do you know whether registry setting is the same for
different variants of Windows, such as Windows XP, 2000, ME and NT. In
Windows XP, the setting is at
HKey_Local_machine\Software\RealVNC\WinVNC4\LocalHost.

Thanks,
Michelle
