I have tried both ip addresses.
I had completed the configuration with help from portforward.com
I have allowed vnc in the windows firewall
I have disabled fast user switching
I have disabled remote desktop
still no connection.  any other suggestions?

System logs are easy... Start ->Programs ->Administrative Tools ->Event
Viewer
Fast User Switching & Remote Desktop are a bit harder... Here's a link to a
website about how to disable FUS:

Yes, they're both XP machines, I have disabled the firewall on all PCs. (not

wise, but I didnt have time to set them up etc)

I will check the system logs tomorrow, can you tell me:
a) how to check system logs
b) how to disabled fast switching and remote desktop
