I'm not the expert, but I've been using that setup. The only thing I'm
not seeing is the use of encryption. The new Enterprise viewer is better
in a few ways than what I used to use and I would recommend it. I'm
enjoying some of the features in the VNC Viewer Options, especially "Pass
special keys directly to server." I'm not sure how many of these things
have been added to the free RealVNC viewer.
