Did you read the whole question?

"How can VNC be made to run over USB?"

Also the IF POSSIBLE on my later appendage "without IP if possible".

So, short of rewriting VNC (otherwise, why would I bother writing to
this list?), what can one do to run a VNC session over USB.
And I don't mean to use an USB ethernet adapter, I mean a straight
USB-USB connection from the winXP box to a unix.


P.S.
I know that there are terminal control hardware+software solutions,
but that is overkill for this particular problem. And I am sure that
other have and/or will require such functionality as this.
