Hi I believe I posted this, but as I got no answer, Im trying again...
The setup: My office-PC is XP with 2 displays placed diagonally from each other and having different resolutions. Main display 1600x1200 upper-right, second display 1024x768 lower-left. My home-PC is W2K 1600x1200. Both are running VNC4. The bug: Instead of seeing the main display (1600x1200) of my office-PC, now I get the whole virtual screen. And because the displays are not placed side by side, I have to scroll an area of approx. 3500x2000! And VNC scrolls automatically, so it is really hard to get to the auto-hiding task-bar. PLUS the speed-up options (hide wallpaper etc) are not working at all. Everything is fine in the other direction - controlling my home from the office. AND everything was perfect both ways with version 3.3.7! Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. Robert PS: Another thing on the XP machine: When reaching the screen border with the mouse, the host's task-bar is activated and the remote's task-bar is hidden behind it! In the meantime I switched back to 3.3.7 on the XP system, and - wow! - it does what it should do! Is this really the solution??? _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
