Hello All, This is my first post to this list and, in case I forget, thanks-in-advance for your help!
Problem: I have two computers running Windows XP, in different locations and environments, that are getting the same error and causing the VNC Server to crash. One computer is running on XP Service Pack 1 and the other is running on XP Service Pack 2 RC1. The server appears to be running fine for about 4-7 connections by a client and then it crashes. The service literally stops. In XP's event viewer, upon nearly every connection (successful as well as the final one that crashes the VNC Server) by a client an error is generated: FrameBuffer: BitBlt failed:5 The computer on my home network is an Athlon 1100, running XPSP2RC1, nVidia GeForce3 TI 200, with mostly updated drivers from nVidia (perhaps to revisions ago, just a few months old). All connections to the VNC Server are over a private LAN. The computer at a client's site on an unrelated network is a P4 2800, running XPSP1, GeForce4 5200, had about the same drivers and then I recently updated to the latest revision; and with either it still crashes. All connections to the VNC Server are over the internet. Cheers, Damion _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
