Hello.

I am having an issue with WinVNC 3.3.7 running on Windows 2000 at SP 4. I have set
WinVNC to run as a service and to Automatically start at boot. For some reason when
the system reboot's the service seems to start but then I receive and Event Id 7024 in
the event log with the text "The VNC Server service terminated with service-specific
error 100." I have looked this error up and it is very generic and is used for many
different things. So that hasn't helped any.

I have looked at all properties I can see that may have an affect on this. I have set
up the service so that if it fails to start the first time it will try again and on
the second time run the command to start the service. I have changed between login
into the Local System account to specifying what account to log in as. All with no
luck.

Has anyone else seen this type of error before or know what might cause it and most
importantly, what I can do to stop it from happening???

Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.
